Volunteer to Help Homebound Adults

Help a neighbor near you.

Caring for your neighbor

Experience the joy of giving back and making a meaningful difference in your community. By volunteering to assist homebound adults with essential errands like grocery shopping and medical appointments, you’re not just providing a ride – you’re offering companionship, support, and peace of mind. Your kindness helps aging adults maintain their independence, access vitally-needed services, and stay connected. Together, we can foster a healthier, happier, and more vibrant community for all. Discover the benefits of volunteering with Duet, where you can enrich your life and the lives of others on a schedule that works for you.

It’s so easy to find someone you can help!

Our interactive Services Map shows our waiting list of homebound adults who need caring volunteers – just like you. Each symbol represents an actual person who is currently waiting to get groceries, friendly visiting, or assistance with paperwork, or computer training.

Normally our highest demand for volunteer services is to provide grocery shopping assistance and transportation to medical appointments. (Note: transportation to medical appointments is not represented on the interactive map)

Once you become a registered volunteer with us, you will be matched with a neighbor in need.
