Finding community

Are you a caregiver facing the challenges of providing care and support for your loved ones? Or perhaps you’ve journeyed through the ups and downs of caregiving and are looking to make a difference? Our peer support service is a lifeline that bridges the gap between caregivers in need and seasoned caregivers eager to share their wisdom. Seasoned caregivers, or mentors, provide a weekly phone call to check in with their mentee, offer a listening ear, and discuss any caregiving concerns.

Whether you’re seeking guidance or ready to be the guiding light for someone else, we’re here to help you find understanding, support, and hope. Become a peer mentee or peer mentor. Together we’ll navigate the complexities of caregiving, one caring connection at a time.

Share strength and gain support together

“I was the only caregiver for my husband for 11 years and my mother for several also. It is so valuable to know both sides of this journey, understanding when my mentee says she is just stressed, scared, and plagued with guilt having been there too. I would have been so grateful to have a mentor to walk beside me in the times when I had no one to be there for me.”

– Luckie, Peer Mentor

“My mentor has been extraordinary. We have a weekly phone call and she will often send me an encouraging picture or text. She is a great listener and offers helpful suggestions, while not being judgmental if I don’t follow through. She is always there at the end of my rope.”

– Jane, Peer Mentee
