Nick Buettner is a captivating speaker and seasoned explorer who has spent the last two decades uncovering the secrets of the world’s longest-lived cultures. As an original member and Executive Producer of the Blue Zones expeditions, Nick played a pivotal role in identifying and documenting regions where people routinely live into their 90s and 100s with vitality and purpose—places like Okinawa, Japan; Nicoya, Costa Rica; and Ikaria, Greece. Working alongside his brother Dan Buettner, National Geographic, and a team of researchers, Nick helped lead 17 expeditions across six continents to explore the environmental, lifestyle, and cultural factors that support exceptional longevity. His firsthand experience in these regions, combined with a deep understanding of well-being science, has made him a compelling and trusted voice on how to apply these timeless lessons in modern life.

We are honored to recognize Bob Roth as the 2025 recipient of the Rev. Dr. Dosia Carlson Legacy Award. Bob Roth is the Managing Partner and co-founder of Cypress HomeCare Solutions, a family owned and operated home care agency launched in 1994 after Bob, his father, and brothers cared for his mother, Joan. That deeply personal caregiving journey inspired a lifelong mission: to provide compassionate, high-quality home care for others navigating similar paths. With more than 40 years of experience spanning consumer products, healthcare, and technology, Bob brings strategic vision and operational excellence to the home care industry.
Bob has been recognized with some of the industry’s highest honors, including Phoenix Business Journal’s Most Admired Leader (2025) and AllThrive 365 (Formerly Foundation for Senior Living) 50 over 50 Award (2024). In 2017, Bob was appointed by Governor Doug Ducey to the Arizona Governor’s Advisory Council on Aging, becoming the first home care agency owner to serve on the Council in its 40- year history.

Terri is a household name across Arizona for her long career in both TV news and lifestyle programming. Affectionately known as Terri O, she helped to build one of the most successful morning news programs in America, Good Morning Arizona, as well as hosted and produced Home with Terri O. Terri O joined Phoenix’s ABC15 in 2012 to co-host the longest running morning lifestyle program in the valley, Sonoran Living, and is still going strong. She is a two-time Emmy Award recipient and was inducted into the 2024 Arizona Broadcast Hall of Fame.

Stanley Serrano is a Los Angeles-born, Phoenix-based singer, musician, and entertainer with a career that’s taken him across North and South America. Starting at just eight years old, he recorded two albums with his younger brother, later touring and recording with top Christian Latin artists like Annette Moreno and award-nominated duo Tercer Cielo. A gifted multi-instrumentalist and former music director, Stanley has shared the stage with thousands, but today he’s back to his roots—captivating Valley audiences every week with soulful covers and unforgettable live performances.
