Event Details

Come learn how art benefits those affected by dementia or other frailties. Our presenter, Laura Hales, curator of learning and innovation at Scottsdale Arts, will share findings from current research on how art contributes to well-being, and she’ll demonstrate a few simple activities you can do another time with your loved one.

She’ll also provide information about the Memory Lounge, a monthly arts experience for people with memory loss and their caregivers. The program invites participants to enjoy visual art, dance, theatre, and music, while each visit includes an interactive tour of the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art.
